My husband and I attended a formal event last weekend and here is my makeup look. My friend Jeff (IG: Jethro_Jones) gave me such a fun updo for the evening!

Over the last few months, I have been trying all sorts of masks. Here is the breakdown of some of my favorites. Sephora Rose Mask $6 – I absolutely loved this mask. I cannot get enough of anything with rose. It is a fiber mask that you keep on your face for 15 minutes. There is no need to rinse afterwards so that the product can continue to benefit the skin. The rose extract hydrates the skin and helps it to appear more radiant and bright. The next morning, my skin appeared more plump and super hydrated.
Algenist Brightening Mask $59 - This mask is fantastic!! After one treatment my skin felt so smooth and clear. Apply to clean skin, leave on for 10 minutes, rinse, and follow with your normal skin care routine. It exfoliates the skin and helps it to appear brighter. It just feels amazing.
Sephora Pearl Mask $6 - Much like the rose mask, you leave this one on for 15 min or so and there is no need to rinse. This mask evens out skin tone, brightens and overall gives the skin a fresh look and feel. I love it! It also feels so cooling, like an at home spa treatment.
Boscia Luminizing Black Mask $34 – The application and removal of this mask was actually the most tricky of the bunch. You have to apply a pretty thick layer evenly in order to be able to pull the mask off in one piece. It also takes over a half hour to dry. I was able to remove it in about 47 pieces (ha) and then followed with a cleansing wipe. Other than that being slightly annoying, the mask made my skin feel great! It detoxifies, purifies and brightens the skin.

Thank you so much ladies!
I love using facial sprays/mists. There is something so refreshing and almost luxurious about them. Here are a few of my favorites:
Caudalie Beauty Elixir – I loved using this. It was recommended by some friends at work last year and they informed me that Victoria Beckham uses it. Sold! It is full of essential oils and helps with radiance and smooths the skin.
Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray – This can be used at any time of the day to refresh and soften the skin. I use it in the morning before applying my makeup. I also like to use it again after applying foundation to give it a softer look. It loads your skin up with vitamins and helps calm down redness.
La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water - I seriously cannot get enough of this. It is so soothing and refreshing. I am about to order my second can of it. It is natural spring water with a concentrated amount of Selenium. It has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This is perfect for the skin after too much sun as well.
MAC Fix+ - This has so many uses. You can spray it on the skin before or after makeup. It also is amazing to spritz on brushes to make pigment stand out more. It is full of vitamins and minerals and has a fantastic scent.
Here is one of the professional photos from the Burlington Burlesque shoot that I did makeup for. I love this one of the beautiful Betty Botticelli.

I had the pleasure of doing makeup for 7 lovely ladies for a wedding on May 31st. The hair was done by Erin O’Connor and she did such a beautiful job. Thank you to the beautiful bride, Jessica, and all of the awesome ladies for letting me spend this special day with you!
